Great Depression Increasing Cattle Prices Brought Murders

My grandfather who has passed so I can share this story. In OK. He was 8 in 1938 and riding in a truck with his uncle looking for work for food. Some G - men where buying cattle then shooting and letting fail into a hole to increase the price. The next day, the G - men's bodies were found in the hole - the cattle were gone. The day after more G - men shot more cows, processed the beef and gave it away to anyone that would take it. These events shaped his entire life. He was a kind cattle rancher and petroleum engineer after being a chief engineer in the Merchant Marines. Grandfather, I love you and miss you.
